I caught him staring at me when I woke up. What could he possibly be thinking?

There is this guy who I know likes me and I actually like him too but we're in a stage where more than friends but less than lovers. We are in a group of 4, 2 gals and 2 guys. We were sleeping in our quarters and I sleept on the bed next to our guy groupmate (nothing malicious or special about it, there isn't just really a lot of place to sleep in our 24 hrs duty). When I woke up, I caught him (the guy whom I like) staring at me then he looked away and then he left the room to do some chores. I'm just wondering if there's any meaning or should I place something special or be worried about it. I mean he and my other gal groupmate sleep on the bed sometimes too (again nothing malicious) and I don't really mind it. I guess I just have trust on him and my groupmates. But again I'm just wondering what could he be thinking about or its just really nothing.
