Did I actually effect him or was he telling the truth?

So I was talking to a guy I had slept with and was teasing him a bit. Anyway a few hours later I needed his help and he brought up what it was I teased him about, I said I was just pushing your buttons, and he said I don’t have any effect on him unprovoked, at least I thought it was… but I’m like if I didn’t effect you in some way why bring it up 3ish hours later….
this happened once before when he upset me and I said something and he messaged me back 3 days later after I had spoken to him in person…. Am I on to something or reading to much into it?

You do not know when to compete and retreat. Strong backbone and good fight are part of a power exchange and flirting. The best interpersonal experience can come from not backing down one time and the next banter session submitting in silence and "you win' energy... even if one can rip the other one a "new one" and knows it.

It seems that you wear your sleeves upon your shoulder and everything is some big concern or emotional attack. You drive fun away with your uber sensitivity...3 plus days to get back to you "damn, the sex is not worth her crap" thoughts running through his head. You have not learned how to manipulate and/or respect a man. It is what it is :-)
