Will men always prefer younger woman? I'm 31 does that mean no man will want me once I come near 40?

He didn't want to go out on dates or have sex and he stayed with me for over a year but had a gay lover on the side... My discovery to his sexuality came very late and I felt very unattractive and unloved... Iv had breakups with straight men but having a breakup with a gay guy was the worst...

I don't know if I need some mental therapy for this but breaking up with a young gay guy made me feel things I never thought I'd feel.. I'm 31 and he was 27

I sensed in your question and answers something is very wrong. Yes, you have been hurt deeply and you need help to get past this so you can have your self worth back. The whole idea is to get your confidence, self esteem, and emotions back to where you can trust, respect, and love again. Therapy may be one way to do that, it's worth trying. In my experience, the answer is almost always within you and in your past, childhood.
You could as well watch videos, group therapy, read books... anything that gets this into perspective so this experience is behind you and you can live your life freely.
That guy is sick. I'd get prayer from strong, godly women, to pray that junk off of you.
Nothing wrong with breakups before as long as you are learning about yourself and your needs. If there are repeating patterns you see, then time to look at yourself. Childhood wounds control... if you are getting run over by people, then it's time to go back and fix some stuff inside, so you can attract better people, learning about yourself and growing.
I went through plenty, that's how I know that's the way out...

Not necessarily. Your chances may be slimmer compared to when you were in your 20’s, but doesn’t mean someone won’t want to be w you. Some men just can’t put up w you get women, especially this younger generation of women that seem to be me me me me. I know when I was in my 30’s, I let my girl who is 7 years older than me. One was a impotent and another guy turned out gay and he was using me to show the world that he was straight, so I'm not finding a guy on time Instantly like other girls can... Not having kids is fine. There are plenty of men out there who may not want kids or who have already had kids but don’t want more. They want to enjoy the life of being w someone as a couple w out that responsibility. What exactly do you mean is it safe for women to age?

You are already past your prime. If she existed, you could not possibly compete with your 20 year old clone. However, even at 40 some guys will be interested. However, far few than when you were 20 and fewer than now.
