Guys, Do guys (try to) act uninterested in a girl they really like, and why?

Generally, no they really don't. There are certainly random exceptions, but generally no.

That being said, it REALLY depends on what you mean by "tries to act uninterested". That can mean anything. Could you please elaborate on HOW exactly he acts like he's not interested?

Also, don't confuse a guy who is shy and/or awkward for disinterest. A super-shy guy might seem to be avoiding you for example. That can certainly be because the shy guy likes you, doesn't know what to say to you, so seems to actively avoid you.

They act uninterested if your being too obvious while not just saying you want us. At a certain point we just act uninterested cause sometimes girls just piss us off. With the constant mind games and indecisiveness. If I need to bring the grocery store to the home cause you can't make up your mind on what you want your just asking for too much. Its the mental gymnastics that just drives guys up the wall. And be like "screw this." at a certain point.

What makes me “act” uninterested is when she does something that pisses me off and I lose interest. This happens often.
