Why does an introvert ignores me in real life, but while texting he answers right away?

We texted because I initiated and he's kind and responds quickly, doesn't matter the time I text him, however when we see each other he is distant as hell.

An introvert will find it far easier to communicate with you over text and social media than face-to-face and in person. Maybe if you could get him one-on-one he may talk and open up to you more. You may need to take the lead with this if you want this to develop into something more.
