I've never been overweight or unhealthy during my life but like my grandma I have a broad build, broad shoulders and not a very defined waist. I've been struggling with this since high school as that time period is where kids were the most brutal and honest creatures. I had this boyfriend at the time and he wanted to do it while I was at his house, I was a virgin and told him I was not ready and he reacted by stating that no other man would ever want to sleep with me because of my body shape and that I should be grateful for his sympathy, obviously left him that same night but those words stuck with me. I am confident in some ways, such as my thighs and big chest. But as growing up I forced myself to wear extremely tight corsets that would squish together a decent sized waist according to models I saw.
I want to start a healthy and confident love life but my insecurities won't let me and I was just so curious, do some men find this type of body attractive? or is what my ex said true?
