This has been going on since onlyfans has been out and it may be out before that. But as you know, I graduated college in Human Services and Counseling and I can't believe how much my clients come to me about social media and they mention Instagram thots and models or their ex girlfriends. I can tell that this has been an on going epidemic of social media causing depression, anxiety, but I want you guys opinions. I can accept hard criticism, this can be a learning experience for me.

Yes, but only because they haven't been taught how to properly navigate the situation. You'll see thousands of men messaging these girls every single day, and the only reason for it is that they don't know any better. I'm teaching my son at an early age that these women aren't looking for someONE, they're looking for someTHING, and that's their likes and comment counts. That's it. They're absorbed in themselves, and don't even consider you a person. Enjoy the pretty picture and leave it at that. No likes, no comments, no simping. Stay above all that bullshit.

They will cause depression if you are looking to get with them via their social media. They are getting TONS of messages from men. There really isn't any reason to think they'll listen to you or anyone else.

Another thing to consider: a lot of these women have insecurity issues. They get validation from the attention. All of those likes, comments and messages only serve to boost their ego. It won't get you noticed.

psychologically speaking depression and anxiety can be cause from many things, overall the use of Social media has been no help in people's mental health. We might not have all the studies needed to determine say what has or has not influenced depression. Most young adults do not understand that most social media stories are fake.

Lack of self discipline and low self-esteem is what causes depression. Both of those things often lead to looking at porn, which worsens depression and promotes lack of self-discipline and low self-esteem. It's a pretty vicious cycle.

Lol yes it clearly can but its not down to the women selling the service but people not being able to use it in a healthy way the same with porn or any other substance people can get addicted too

I'm talking about the Instagram girls, the TikTok girls, onlyfans girls. The ones who post pictures of their butts and thighs just to get 50,000 likes from every single single men. What it is, is that men wish that they would have a girlfriend like that, that causes depression and doubt because they have 0 chance of dating a girl like what we see on Instagram or TikTok.
