Who contributes more to a child's life? Is it the father or the mother?

I made a post elsewhere on something else & some guys responding... they contribute little.

One cried about looking after his kid for 7 months & he's got multiple kids with multiple women... when I asked if he contributed anything to their lives, in general, no answer.

Another cried about looking after kid for a few years & in communicating proved he doesn't really care for the kid, is narcissistic, whiny, and embittered. Not exactly a good influence.

Pick ONE parent. Yes both should contribute but pick one of the two.

I would say both the mother and the father are important for a kids life but if I have to say who would be most needed in a kids life is a father ,( a. Father is to help give the child a back bone and strive for success in the kids life) and I will say a woman's job for a child is important

Definitely the mother. Just from being pregnant, giving birth and breastfeeding. It takes a lot more to do those things then the dad can ever contribute

I won't pick one. Its equal for both cause they both are equally responsible for bringing the child to life.
