Guy friend unsends a message but I saw it?

My male friend and i are close friends. I confided in him recently about depressing issues related to family. He unsent a message which made me wonder because I saw the content prior to him unsending. He said something to the lines of "hugs with emoji and then for me to talk it out".

I am now wondering why he unsent it lol. It was a normal response. Any ideas?

there's no such thing as close friends between a man and a woman. You feeling open and vulnerable enough to confide in him, triggers his protective and hero instinct and naturally he wants to be closer to you. Once these emotions develop, a trusting bond is formed. Love flourishes and you cannot go backwards.

I know I will get flack for this comment. But I experienced this myself.

Men dont stick around to be your just ftiend boyfriend. He feels you're opening to him so he responds impulsively with loving openness in return, realizing later it may potentially jeopardize your friendship.

Its safe to say he likes you more than just a friend. You should be forefront about it because if your feelings are unrequited it is going to hurt in the long run.

Im not sure if i like him that way. All i know is i feel comforted when i talk to him because it is something that i know he can relates to. Now i'm confused with him unsending things

A man feels attached to someone or something he protects. Your confiding in him opens yourself to him. He feels connected and cherishes this value and trust you place in him.

I know you may not see him as anything but a friend, and he probably knows this. But the more connected he feels to you, the less willing he is to let you go.

Unsending his text is a concscious awareness of his own action, that he perceives his response to be too much exposure of his own inward feelings. So he wants to hold it back.

Men do this because we are bad at telling you how we feel.

He may have thought of that he was coming off too sympathetic over empathizing with you. He may have wanted to connect with you better on more in an emotional way. But then realized his comment may have come across as pushing you away or not really connecting with you. He also may have realized he treated you like a guy when he should have given you more a feminine diplomacy answer since most women do not act like men.

But instead of you and me guessing about why he deleted his comment. Just go ahead and ask him directly about it.

If he gets flustered, then he obviously has a crush on you. But if he can give you an answer with no delay, then he is just a friend.

It is a toss up if he always thinks before he speaks. So he may put some time and effort in his answer. But you will still wonder his attention.

Could’ve been something that seemed to flirty to him or may have been interpreted wrong.

Given the situation he probably also could have said something he wouldn’t want you to believe about your situation.

maybe it was a “f- it” attitude, and he wanted you to instead talk it out and be logical.

In my opinion men and woman are not just friends. Men and women are design to procreate. 9 times out 10. The only reason a man with befriend a woman is because he is trying to get up in that. Men have their boys for friends. Unless your male friend is more flamboyant.

Why do people ask other random strangers about stuff like this.. lol if you have a question about a particular persons behavior that isn’t detrimental to your health or theirs, it’s advised you be brave and talk to that individual. If you are as close as you claim to be, that should not be a problem.
