Like saying, "We humans by nature want things that we can't have, and then we get tired of them with the passage of time."

That does happen, yes. But that's also a sign of immaturity and other bad traits.

Here's the thing: if a person want someone so badly then they should (key word) love all the qualities in the one they want. And thus when they "get" them, life is grand because that person is close to you and they have all the great qualities.

So, what you were saying tells me that guy is immature... he's out for the getting and not for the wonderful prize of the wonderful girl and her qualities.

To your last statement, I think that we do get tired of things. Ramen is no longer enjoyable. We want new shoes. Time to trade in the car. But that's material things and other stuff. Yes, we humans crave new, but fight that impulse when it comes to relationships.
