I was talking about how it is said that men don’t like women that are smarter than them and he answered “probably” lmao. And he said later “ I wouldn’t care if you were smarter than me” I’m aware that I’m not smart as him in fact im probably kind of slow and my anxiety makes me freeze even more.

My boyfriend tells me that I’m smart but he could just be telling that to me to flatter me because he has said things to flatter people in front of me.

I just never tried to be I haven’t found a major that I’m passionate about. I was in honors bur I've always gotten average grades because I just didn’t care and I don’t study. I could speak two languages and he can’t and I know a lot about different cultures but he is smarter than me. I don’t like though that my parents listen to whatever he says and treat him like a human encyclopedia but never listen to me everything I say they start off the sentence with no or something it’s so irritating.

You need more confidence in yourself, speaking two languages is pretty smart to me
