What makes a guy so secretive about his job?

I’ve been dating this guy for about 3 months. He is very good, funny, caring, sexy and really smart. Very stable Financially & I’ve fallen in love with him due to his charming personality. He surprises me with different fun romantic dates every time and we get along perfectly. We talk about so many things and he is open about anything I ask about except 1 thing. His JOB whenever I bring it he changes the subject, or say there’s nothing much to talk about, and it’s bothering me now cause I really want to know!! Am I overthinking this thing?

He hasn't even told you what his job is? Odd.

That probably means he's either ashamed of what he does, or thinks you'll look down on his job. Or he doesn't want you to know because he might think you're using him for money.

I'd ask him to tell you something about his job. If nothing else, so you can get to know more about him and his life.

Noo, don't pry! If he finds out you're sneaking around, that won't make a good impression. He's got to tell you eventually; just wait it out. In the meantime, ask other things about himself: if he's pretty much an open book outside his job, I'm going to assume it's one of those two reasons, which overtime, once he trusts and feels comfortable around you, he's got to tell you
