Some guy blocked me just because I said I’d rather be friends, and I don’t want to hookup as I’m looking for something more as in friendship or a relationship. I mean it’s not like I’m not trying to find a partner sometimes it’s the guys. No offense tho because I know girls can sometimes do the same now and then.

I feel like it’s because they don’t want to make the effort in any sort of a relationship even a friendship. I don’t get people anymore. It seems relationships lost their value but I still hold hope there’s a guy who’s different out there.

I want something romantic but not just sexual. I want a real relationship that involves an emotional connection, common interests, values, laughs, fun dates, adventure and most importantly love. I just don’t wanna hookup, I want to be with someone I can potentially marry. I don’t wanna regret not trying now while I’m still young and be one of those girls who waits forever then barley decides to settle you know. I also don’t like hooking up, I think intimacy is something to be cherished and special.

I know right. I was clear even when we started talking that I don’t do hookups or one night stands, I’d at least like a friendship if we don’t end up together and he said”oh I get the whole not wanting to jump in bed with someone , I’m the same” then like an hour later he blocked me..

I appreciate the encouragement which is why I’m staying optimistic as best as I can even though sometimes dating can be frustrating lol I feel like something will happen eventually, ehh it doesn’t hurt to put myself out there though, I just gotta steer clear away from guys who only want sex though. My cousin found her now husband when she was 26 so I’m not losing hope:)
