Guys, Why does he always hold the hot plate instead of using mittens?

Could be for a few reasons. People have told me as well that true plate is hot only to feel for myself it’s warm. Also sometimes it’s just quicker, yes may only save two seconds when it comes to getting the oven mitts but sometimes like I said just faster to grab it. Also he may not think it’s as hot as others say. Hot hot something is or cold is subjective. He may not want to look like a pussy either using oven mitts.
