Why didn't he deny we are a couple?

a guy I work with didn't say anything when a guy friend of my said " aww what a cute couple you two make. The guy I have a crush on knows I like him. However when my friend made that comment about me and my crush being a couple. My crush never said anything about my guy friend saying that. ithought my crush would deny we would be a couple and say so. ething like " oh no we are just friends , or something g like that but he didn't. So what does this mean? Does he actually want to date me?

He may have been distracted or it was an awkward situation so he ignored it. If this is someone you’re interested in and you think he may reciprocate, you may be able to use it as an “in” next time the two of you are alone… outside of work preferably. Though him being a co-worker is problematic. Most guys don’t like to mix personal relationships with work. It can be very risky these days.

Why didn't he say you were a couple? This is the question because if mentioned he would have claimed you. By not claiming you is admitting that you are not together.
