Why is he acting like we are married?

so I have been hanging out with this guys and we both confessed that we love each other but agreed to keep things casual for some time.

lately, he has been acting like we are married or asks when we are going to get married. at first I thought he was joking but it has become a constant "joke". for instance, when we are cuddling he asks "when are we going to get married". or for instance we had a little fight the other day and he goes "are we getting divorced?". these are some of the examples, he does a dozen of these jokes and I do not get whether he is hinting at something or he is straight up stupid.

I just thought maybe our relationship reminds him of marriage because it is a little stagnant but I would love to hear your thoughts.

I do not know what to do about it I am not sure about his intentions that's why I'm asking you

Sounds like he wants to get married but you’re not ready for that do you even want that

yes I am not ready, we are not even in a serious relationship yet so it is silly that he would hint at such thing. I am not sure if he is serious though if he is i need to have a talk with him.

Do you two spend every second with each other? And maybe he is hinting to you that he wants to become more serious with you? Does he only say these things or does he treat the entire relationship like you two are married?

yeah we spend a lot of time together. I do not know about your second question how do you "treat" a relationship like you are married.

Nothing wrong with spending a lot of time together but maybe he says y’all are Married because you two spend a ton of time together and are never apart from one another.
And what I mean by does he treat the relationship like you are married does he treat you like you are married like take you everywhere he goes or include you in everything and do everything he can to make you happy or does he not include you in everything and get distant at times or anti social?

I see what you mean now. And yes, he takes me to everywhere like his grocery shopping or when he is meeting with his friends. he is concerned about me and calls me a hundred times a day if we are not able to see each other. he tries to include me to every aspect of his life.
