They try to maintain being in control. They use strong body language to set the pace of things and don't want to compromise since they're in charge.

I don't know, they get some screwy idea that they're right, even though the majority says they're wrong but they INSIST that YOU change to suit THEIR way of doing things! I had a bass player like that! In fact, I was just listening to two of the songs we recorded that she screwed up because she refused to play the way the songs were supposed to be played! Then, they make piss-poor excuses. Like, in her case: "Well, I'm a different bass player!" Then join a different band! We'll get someone that CAN play!
