Probably because he has more chemistry and connection with her , Chemistry and connection is what really matters when it comes to being in a relationship with someone , Attraction doesn’t really matter as much , definitely not as much as Chemistry and connection,, I see beautiful attractive girls all the time , but if I am already with a girl that I have amazing chemistry and connection with, those attractive girls don’t matter to me , I am not going to end my relationship with a girl that has my heart for a girl that I just find attractive , I might be flattered that another attractive girl is interested in me , but I wouldn’t jeopardize my relationship with my partner for it , the same way I wouldn’t want her to jeopardize our relationship for another attractive guy. The only way I might jeopardize my current relationship, is if my partner is an absolute bitch to me and she treats me like total shit , if she withholds intimacy and affection from me constantly and makes me feel like I have to earn it , or she constantly criticizes me and belittles me and compares me to other guys , shows all signs of being selfish and only caring about herself , just like my ex wife did to me , I will try to fix it with her and express my feelings of concern , but if nothing changes and she still treats me like total shit and treats me like her punching bag constantly then all that does is push me to be open to someone else that is giving me what my partner isn’t giving me , so i will start preparing to end the relationship with her if another girl is showing interest in me during that time I will be more drawn to the girl that is treating me better , my ex cheated on me before I cheated on her cuz I was trying to save my marriage but her cheating was my final straw. After my divorce I learned to never be a constant punching bad to someone again , I don’t tolerate abusive selfish behavior anymore I learned not to be a sitting duck for someone You can only be a punching bag to someone for so long. You should never feel constantly abused in a relationship period , If your partner isn’t complimenting you , telling You they love you , not jumping in your arms not showing any affection towards you , you are best to start making your plans to walk away and let your partner know things are not good , if you honestly loved your partner you would stay by their side and make them smile not bring constant misery into their lives and treat them like total shit , life is too short to be with someone that treats you like a door mat and constantly points fingers at you over pointing fingers at themselves , if someone can’t remove selfishness for you you can’t remove it for them
