Why is he disappearing the day after sex?

The guy I’ve been seeing for a month and a half now, he never texts the day after we have sex until the nighttime. Every other day, he is texting me all day long every day. Why does he do this?

It could be that he only sees you as a sexual object, so he's only talking to you the day before to increase his chances of intimacy; once the act is completed, he has no further use for you until the next time he desires intimacy.

He may also be working an odd shift at his job.

My first guess is that he had sex, so his needs are satisfied.
Sadly many guys are like that after they get what they want.
The other possibility is that he is busy, or can't text at work, but that seems pretty weak.
No matter how busy you are there is always time to text sorry I'm really busy but I was thinking about you today.
Short sweet and didn't take long at all.
That may be a question you want/should ask him sometime soon.
