My boyfriend kicked me out? Is snooping justified in this case?

My boyfriend is close to his former friends with benefits girl. He keeps telling they are now only friends as they have not seen each other for 6 years (his boyfriend is against it). I always had weird feeling as they talk with each other so much. It bothered me so I asked him not to. He ghosted her which made her freak out and try to contact him nonstop. They are still in contact, but leas. Eventually he wrote her that she it is all too complicated to explain. (I suggested him to write that he is in a new relationship and wants to focus on it and due to past i hope you understand- but my boyfriend didn’t). Now he was “blaming” me that he cannot order photos from her for her flat due to no contact rule. (Her photography is not good). He was joking how he would like to ask her to send him naked pics of her. I was crying and snooped in his phone secretly to see the chats. It is full of sex stuff (before he met me) and flirty texts. My boyfriend got so angry at me that he says he betrayed my trust and kicked me out from his flat. He refuses to talk to me. Was it really so bad what I did? On the same day he told me how he has never loved anybody as much as me and wants to be with me forever. Now he closed the door in front of my face and kicked me out
