This bar I used to go to often is now making accusations against me?

i'm not entirely sure what they are but there accusing me of something that allegedly occurred on a Saturday night 2 weeks ago the last time i was in the bar physically.

they've provided no evidence and not even stated to me what the accusation is exactly , i've never been contacted by the police and does not appear there investigating me for anything. but the bar denied me entry when i tried to go there last Saturday. on the context something happened 2 weeks ago.

should i seek outside legal advice? send them a threatening letter telling them i'm going to get lawyer if they don't back down or at least provide some evidence , they claim to have 72 cameras watching the building so surely they know what if anything happened that night.

i'm not sure what to do , been going to bars all my life and never had anything like this happen before. i'm not sure i really care to go back there for the time being but the though i'm being accused of something i don't feel i did is not fair in my view , and i'm not even sure what i'm being accused of exactly. i recall buying an attractive younger women a drink and that seemed to annoy some people there so i think it might be related to that

to make it clear i do NOT plan to go back to this bar anytime soon , so don't worry about that if your wondering , i was denied entry and don't think i could get back in anyways

You have no right to go to that bar. And they have every right to prevent you from going.

If they are slandering you, then you *might* have a civil case. But that doesn't appear to be the case. Otherwise there is nothing you can do if they refuse to let you enter.

Find another bar and move on. Maybe with time you'll hear though the grapevine what happened. Although it might not be reliable.

i know there is reasons a bar can deny entry , such as dress code , undesirable , don't pay bills or harass staff members etc but i'm not being accused of those things , i can't get in that bar for the time being so obviously i'll go somewhere else. it feels weird to think i may never be able to go back in there after being in it so many times before

If you've been going that long, you'll probably run into one of the regulars and you can ask. Obviously you did something while you were drunk and don't remember. Maybe you were getting too pushy with that woman you bought a drink for. Or maybe it was something entirely different.

There is also a chance that you were accused of something you didn't do. But it would be hard to find out or fight it.

i never really get drunk there , i had some success recently in terms of buying some attractive women some drinks lately , i had done shots at the bar with a couple different ones that last few nights i had been there , i think that annoyed someone and they decided to get me out of there

it will be hard to figure out what happened as the accusations are from 2 weeks ago , who can even remember Saturday night 2 weeks ago if they were drunk

i know feels weird to think that a business does not want my money. this just frustrates me to think there accusing me of something but refuse to provide proof. i'm obviously not planning of going there this weekend as i already know they won't let me through the door

no this is not the same bar this is a country bar in another city ( but i did have an issue with a staff member at my hometown pub last summer ) , the accusation does not involve a staff member to my knowledge , it may involve the younger women that i bought a drink for earlier in the night or a younger women i encountered at coat check as i left , i recall her being annoyed at me but i didn't even know who she was and had no interactions with her that night and don't even know her name

note the girl from my hometown pub ghosted me 6 months ago and i have not heard from her since. i still go there and no one mentions anything about her ever. i tried to apologise to her through a message on social media but never heard back. the staff there was aware i liked her as i talked to her like everyday it wasn't a secret but even her never accused me of anything beyond being a little obsessed with her and wanting to spend time with her there

its a small world so i can't entirely rule out the possibility this issue i'm having with the country bar somehow relates back to her. although pretty certain she's never been in it. although i did see her best friend there once last fall, she goes to school in that city but that night she talked to me and seemed fine with me. so there is people there that know her and maybe something got said about her to people who work there i don't know

although pretty certain the accusations from 2 weeks ago are not about her and another girl i meet there and bought drinks for that night

i was denied entry into that bar last Saturday so i can't go there , that isn't the issue , the issue is there making some sort of accusation against me as a basis to deny entry but haven't gone to the police , if they think i did something criminal then wouldn't you think they'd have already made that call? to simply accuse me of something for which i have no way of defending my self is not fair

maybe you are just annoying and the bartender is sick of your crap. I never heard of this but I suppose it is possible. Dont worry about the cops,. If there was anything to it they would have picked you up by now.

yes i bought a couple different girls drinks there since Jan of this year and that might of annoyed someone there i think. one was totally random , was actually kind of impressive i pulled it off , saw this girl on the dance floor who i had to meet and asked her if she wanted to do a shot with me at the bar ( never talked to her before ever and we don't know each other ) but she said yes anyways and came to bar but got awkward , she still did it anyways and told me her name but never seen her since , some of the guys were impressed i did that and some girls jealous i think

i agree is no chance there going to the police , if they really had any evidence of criminality wouldn't they be legally obligated to provide it by now? the incident did supposedly occur 2 weeks ago
