I used to go with friends to a pub for the weekly quizz, months and years ago then I moved to another city for work.
I was sometimes coming back for the quizz. The bar owner (a handsome, simple and very charming man) is also the quizz master ! I knew him superficially, just visually and small talk.
Lately I came back to my city and decided after months to go back to the quizz with 2 guys from the group.
I noticed first the bar owner came a lot to our table even there was nothing anymore to clean š š I found it a bit suspicious.
Then we went outside for the break, and he quickly joined usā¦he was close to me and started to gently touch me several times while talking (my forearm).
I was really surprised but amazed as I ve always been attracted to him but for any (stupid) reason, he looked not accessible to me (handsome older guy etc).
so how do you understand his behaviour? And how would you proceed next as I donāt really know him?

Next time you return, you go to the bar and say to him, "I'm only in town for two days but if you want to get together, I'll make time for you. Here's my number," and you slip him a piece of paper with your phone number on it.
And he calls you the next morning, you get together that night. . . and who knows what happens then?

I saw him today he came to me and my friend and blushed instantaneously while talking to me (so cute !) he also barely could look at me into the eyes.. my heart started racing lol
Next step is to turn this into time together, just the two of you.
Yep :) yesterday the bar had to close because of a toilet problems š he had to close quickly.

Next time, when you see him, ask him if he is hungry. Tell him you haven't yet eaten and suggest a nearby place to go for a meal.
But he s working til 2 am.. but I could suggest to have a drink elsewhere.

Perhaps his romantic attention was directed towards someone else earlier. Or maybe growing familiarity has led to the development of a stronger attraction.
Yes I thought about it. I know during beginning of covid (2020) he was living with someoneā¦I guess something has changed otherwise he wouldnāt take the risk to seduce a girl at his workplace in public..
We havenāt been so close either lately, his interest has manifested suddenly, thatās why Iām so surprisedā¦like it was the Ā« timing Ā» suddenly lol.
I have had the experience of "waking up" one day and realizing there was someone already in my life who was an attractive prospect for dating, someone who I had earler failed to appreciate in that way.
Thatās very interesting.. I was a bit āshockedā by this sudden move lol. Maybe he liked me before but from far especially if he was in coupleā¦ now itās been 2 times he comes directly to me (us) to talk. The blush was so niceā¦especially because he is a older.
