We keep toying with the idea of meeting he seems very enthusiastic over text but not in a rush to meet in person though it seems he thinks it will happen in time. We used to know eachother so I know he’s not a catfish but I’m just worried he’s not that excited…

Well, yea... I see why you might be worried. To be honest, it's weird. It doesn't seem to make sense. I'm not saying he doesn't have some reason... but I don't understand this behavior. I think it would be fair to ask him this. Most guys would want to see you in person sooner rather than later if you already know each other (from the past, and from talking again this time). I think you'd be right to ask for an explanation. Because it's weird.

If he's not in a rush then I say don't bring it up again.. That way if he really wants to meet up he'll notice you're not mentioning it anymore so he will. If he's not interested in meeting up he just won't bring it up at all.
