I was surprised about a question my boyfriend friend asked him
So we were having some beer and his friend came up, he introduced me blabla
Later his friend asks him:"are you being a good boy and staying away from your ex?"
He is dating me for 2 years... last time he saw this friend, it was maybe 4-5 month ago.
Why the hell he is asking That question, does it mean he previously was meeting with her? and that friend knows something I dont?
Or its just the way he is talking?
I mean he knows my boyfriend story that his ex put him in jail 4 years ago, lying he beats her. So maybe he is talking in general.
Im a bit overthinking here maybe?

The problem is its possible his ex didn't lie since they probably found hard evidence he may have and staying away from his ex can stop her from telling his current girlfriend. It's a warning sign even if he pleads innocent

It's possible that your partner is a narcissist, covering your eyes from small manipulation. I swear I don't use that word lightly. I have similar experience. It's possible that you're thinking too much into the ex business

So my confusion is: if his friend knows he dates me... why would he tell him to stay away from her, as if he is thinking my boyfriend is still with her. Which is not truth
