Guy's Behavior

Hey peeps... so I have a question. What if there is this boy that you like--- I do-- and you don't really know if he likes you back? ?

OK, so the only reason why I think he might like me is because i caught him staring at me. Whenever he passes by me, or I pass by him he'll either look at me really friendly- which he never does that around others- or he'll flick me. Sometimes he will randomly just sit next to me and say he sat there cuz he friend was sitting on my other side. He could've easily sat next to his friend! - Not that I'm complaining- He teases me, but when someone asks him if he likes me- which most of the time I'm usually a couple feet away- he says no. My friend that I trust, said that when I wasn't there, she asked him that same question and all he did was smile and blush. I don't know if I should believe that or not. He started dating someone a month ago, but the girl broke up with him because she only dated him since she felt bad that he liked her and she didn't want to hurt his feelings. And that he purposely lied to her face- but tbh he was just trying to seem cool. I got al little upset- but I don't show those feelings-. Now, he texted my friend that i trust that he has a new crush... He described someone that looks just like me, but there are at least 2 different other girls he could be talking about. I don't know what to do? To me, this is awkward, but also intense. I have liked him for a long time, and the first words that he said to me and my friends were, " I'm not going to like anyone in this place." Which came out now to be a lie, but he didn't know!
Thats all I'm typing now! please give me y'all's opinion. I'm almost dying over here 🖤
