Whether or not you should be bothered that your friend with benefits didn't want to have sex with you is a personal decision, and it depends on your own feelings and expectations.
It's possible that he was simply tired and not in the mood, and this had nothing to do with you or your relationship. It's also possible that he's feeling less interested in pursuing a sexual relationship with you for any number of reasons. It's important to communicate with him openly and honestly about your feelings and expectations, and to listen to his in return.
If you find that you're frequently feeling disappointed or frustrated in this arrangement, it might be worth reevaluating whether it's meeting your needs and desires. A friends with benefits relationship can be a tricky thing to navigate, as both parties may have different expectations or levels of attachment. It's important to be honest with yourself and your partner about what you want and need from the relationship, and to make sure that you're both on the same page.

Am going to put this on a female's perspective. It usually takes a lot in us to initiate sex. And if we do initiate and we get rejected its really very damaging in our brains... So you just started having sex with this guy... This is a point were its so much fun, you have to have sex almost everyday. So i dont get why he doesn't want to have sex maybe there is something else bothering him... Nothing turns men on more than a lady they like initiating sex. So sit down with him and ask him whats up?
He probably just doesn’t feel like it. If your friends with benefits only. Could be a lot of other things going on in his life, maybe he was going on a few dates with a girl and it failed and he is sad. Maybe he feels fat or shit (yes men feel self conscious too). Could be many things.
