I met a guy and we mutually liked each other. We haven’t expressed yet directly. He gives off friendly vibes and that he is still interested when we are in common friends chats. I initiated direct conversation once and he was quick to respond at each message I’d sent and he also used emojis/laughs. Will he lose interest if I DM him again? I’ve heard guys run away if women pursue. He is a gentleman so not sure if that applies to him too.

No. He won't lose interest. Guys don't run away if you pursue them... as long as the guy likes you. If he likes you, then there is no scaring him off.

The guy running away thing only applies to a guy who is trying to date someone casually, and she is pushing for a relationship when that's not what that guy is looking for (and has made that clear to her).

But if you're just talking to a guy... and you like him, and he seems to like you back... you aren't going to scare him off.

No, we lose interest when we only get like two or three words after we’ve been giving you full sentences , if you’re initiating, I don’t have a problem with that at all then I stay interested
