A guy I supposedly dated told me that I'm nice I'm great company , people enjoy talking to me but no guy would want to be with me cause they wouldn't see me as a girlfriend cause I have nothing of upliftment to offer obviously because I'm in my first year of university my parents cover the rest of my tuition that my scholarship doesn't but why the hell did he have to say that and be so harsh about it because I wanted to leave because all he wanted me for was sex which I'm a virgin and wasn't ready to give.

He was trying to manipulate you into giving him sex (by shaming you for not doing so). In other words, he revealed his true intentions - he just wanted casual sex from you. Instead of being upset, you should be thankful, because now you can kick him to the curb and not have to have any mixed feelings about it - he's a selfish asshole, and now you don't have to deal with him anymore.

He could have been FAR worse by stringing you along and lying to you. Be happy you found out the truth.

You're an adult now, and you have to understand that a lot of men are just after women to get some sex. Part of that is simply how men are designed - we crave sex (regardless of any feelings or relationship), and we take it where we can. But most mature men can manage those desires, or at least be honest about them. This guy just assumed he was going to get sex, and when he didn't, he got upset. He's selfish and self-centered - which tells me he was probably good-looking and popular, because selfish and self-centered tends to go with good looks and popularity.

Anyway, sex is ALWAYS going to be a factor in any relationship with a man. Expect it, and manage it proactively. Don't just ASSUME a man knows what you're thinking, or has the same morals and values and boundaries you do - assume the opposite, and have the conversation. That will allow you to cut things off much earlier, before you get to these confrontations. Of course, the problem is that the guys you are MOST attracted to are likely to also be the ones who only want casual sex - again, that's just part of the package - so if you keep going after the good-looking, popular guys, you should expect them to only be after casual sex. If you want an actual relationship with someone who cares about you, you're far more likely to get it from a guy who is closer to average - i. e., a guy who CAN'T get attention from dozens of girls just by existing.
