No telling. I can’t read minds BUT… there is many possible answers.
Maybe gossip. Maybe he’s heard something about you true or untrue.
Another possibility is you posted stuff he found offensive.
Another answer…. Maybe he was cleaning out his friends list. Sometimes people have TONS of friends and many are people they barely even know… So they unfriend people that I guess take a lot of space in their feed
