Why do some men insult other men?

I had some mean replies on YouTube about my boyfriend some days ago and it blew my mind.

Some super unattractive incels said this"your boyfriend is not a Chad, but he somehow"pulled you". You don't have to watch those videos though it is bad for you"

I was gonna say "look who is talking "

The dude who told me that wad 1000x more unattractive than my boyfriend and he had the audacity to tell me that just because i preferred him over some "Chads" on the video😂😂😂

Why was he even offended? I didn't prefer the celebs not him 😂

He even dared to say that I am trying to prove that looks and money don't matter (blackpill dudes need help) while i wasn't trying to prove anything 😂😂😂

Some guys are so childish. They have to insult everyone to make them own selves feel better because deep down, they know no one likes them, and they are probably right. And they are horrible on youtube. That's why I don't reply to many political questions there or the ones asked here. They are stupid. One guy earlier told me to pick a political side. Jesus, between a cry baby trying to overturn an election and a man with dementia, there aren't may choices, lol

My friend who always has guys stalking her told me a lot of guys try to criticize to get her attention and interest. It’s got a lower success rate than a finding a fossil in a car garage but a lot of immature people will believe they have control because they want to. Like one guy repeated lines from a sex movie to her to get her interest and he ended up with a police report filed against him.

Anyone who uses expressions like "Chad", "Stacey" and "Tyrone" to denote attractive, popular and successful people, is by definition a loser, so don't worry about it.

People on the internet are rude, and there are all sorts.

But aside from your example, sometimes men insult each other (same as women do) as a way of being friendly in a rough way. It's kind of a cultural thing, but no real harm is meant. Though it can also go the other way as well, and be bullying, it's very much about the intention behind it and how it's taken.

Other times men insult other men out of insecurity or as an expression of dislike. It's a way to try to tear someone else down or identify a disparity of values.

Welcome to the internet. In other news not everyone sees your boyfriend the same way you do. To you he's the hottest man on the planet, which is as it should be. To Joe Incel he's just another average looking guy who's somehow getting laid while they're not.

Men like to insult and humiliate other men for generally one of two reasons --

-- either because they think a woman wants them to, for her amusement or pleasure, etc.

-- or because they're jealous of the guy they're insulting.

I think in your boyfriend's case, it's because they're so jealous of him, because he's dating one of the hottest women in the world.

Like one other reply said, some (not all) feel the need to put others down to make themselves feel better, also to get attention on them. I’d just ignore them, if you fire back at them, you’re only giving them what they want.
