On instagram girls like your pictures right? but some boys follow girls and boys but rarely like anyone’s pictures. For example there is this guy who I know and he has like a 100 or sum followers and follows 200 people and me and him follow many of the same people and he rarely likes or comments on anyone’s pictures, why do some boys have instagram but barely like any pictures? I’m really curious, please help me understand!

Men dont need validation so much to exist so we dont think that liking our male friends pictures are of any importance. And we follow women's accounts, maybe take screenshots for thirst purposes. The simple like and comment in abundance, but the smarter ones just observe, the smartest ones dont even follow or look at them but look at educational or business content.

I use my social media just to watch some funny content and for communication with people that I dont see very often or I know from the past. Im not liking much either becauss most people just post bullshit about their lives nobody is interested in seeing

for me i just use the "following" thing as a bookmark. to see the recent posts of a person. i don't care to "like" anything. that's extra work that i don't see any reason to do.
