Because he's aware of the competition he's going to have. Which makes sense.

There are women out there that make sure they look good for their man... and then there are the women that only bother to look good when there are going to be other men in the scene.

Any man with a thinking brain is going to become aware of it.

And I think it might make a man uncomfortable knowing his woman is only putting forth an effort in certain situations and not others... unless he's a cuck. Cucks fantasize about me banging their girl.

He has trust issues and he thinks you will leave him so to deal with this you tell him you're dressing up for him and him only. You have to tell him it's ok to see me this way as I am yours no anyone else. You got to give him closure. Also he may have had an ex and it ended wrong for him. Just be you and be happy doing you even if you dress up. If he can handle after you told why then it's time to call it quits because he is not going to accept you.

From a guy´s point a woman wanting to look is often considered a sign that she´s looking for a new partner so he might get moody because he´s umcomfortable with how you leave the house.
