No. In the worse case we just aren't interested and it is said to make SIW's feel better that men aren't interested or have lost interest rapidly. It is men's fault then, so SIW's can still feel OK about themselves.
I lose interest rapidly when I observe a SIW stubbornly making the same mistake over and over again as rapidly as she can and seemingly expecting different results each time. Plus saying 'You can't tell me what to do' when she gets quite helpful & useful male advice.
I still want that hour back spent searching for SIW's car on the wrong level in a car park (it took less than 2 including getting to the right level).
Oh and the hour she cost us when she got lost in a forest at midnight and again saying 'You can't tell me what to do' when she got quite helpful & useful male advice (it took less than 5 once she could be prevailed upon to stop shuttling back and forth between the same two points as rapidly as she could).
SIW's are pains in the ass. I totally lost interest in showing her there is an entire function for this in google maps. I only retain her phone number so I know not to answer should she ever call me. Not picking that call up.
I can't stand it when women say this, how could they possibly even know? Intimidated definitely not. Clueless and bewildered maybe... But not intimidated. Its refreshing to see a woman taking care of business. That being said sometimes it may make us feel like they are out of our reach bc a lot of the signals girls send us are the opposite of independent so it can come off like you don't need us or want us.. hope this makes sense.
I think intimidated is probably the wrong word. There definitely are guys you get confused/put-off if a woman decides not to conform to gender stereotypes or act in a dependent manner. Because men, historically speaking, have become used to building relationships on the basis of female dependency, they have, on the whole, developed fewer techniques to emotionally appeal to or be mutually supportive of a woman who doesn't have the traditional dependencies. This can make them difficult to connect with for men who are trying to operate on traditional assumptions. (Or who haven't realized that women don't want them because they can fix their car, but that "acts of service" is a love language and having take the time to fix the car is what matters at the end of the day). I think guys often miss the basic roots of why people appreciate certain traits in partners and often talk about it in a pretty superficial way.
I think "frustrated due to lack of understanding" is probably more accurate. I think we call it intimidated because this frustration probably comes off as fear or something similar when the guy starts to get defensive.

I once read an interview the actress Angelia Jolie, where she was asked about her scars and said, quote, "You're young, you're drunk, you're in bed, you have knives, shit happens". And I read that, nodding along, and then thought "Wait, knives?".
Men are intimidated by women who speak or act as though they represent a serious physical danger; that's about it. By and large, that description is used by women who don't get male attention and can't understand why, since they spend their lives being told men are desperate and will jump anything without a Y chromosome, so the only reason that THEY get no attention is because all the men are scared of them.
Men are the sex that faces down greater risks of every form of violence humanity has ever devised and lets women get away with calling themselves victims; that goes after whales in kayaks smaller than their targets; that analyzes divorce statistics and still gets married anyway. The fact that you don't bite at pickup lines that haven't worked since 1983 doesn't unnerve us.
From the perspective of a young masculine man with traditional family values.
If you state that you`re an independent woman (make your own money, have your own place and car, can pay for everything yourself - which you tell me openly on a date) it means you want a man, but you don't want to commit or genuinely connect with me.
You're stating that you want to be equal or "in charge" of the relationship, that you don't really trust or want to rely on me to provide, you are thus trying to compete with me (which means A LOT of headache for a traditional man that is focused on chasing excellence, because when I see you, I want to relax and have fun with you, not argue over who pays for the dinner, where we`re going or who's car we`re taking).
The only men that you will attract, is people like you, that don't want to commit to you, that just want a spin and end it there.
Or, beta boyz (skinny dorks with little game and no bank) that will agree to that no-commitment dynamic long term, though you will loose respect for them very soon. (Because deep inside they are the intimidated/ insecure ones, as they have no options, thus will bend to your will to keep you "satisfied").
Even if I decided to date an "independent" aka "boss b*tch" woman, it will be for a night or two, as I prefer to date women that want to fulfill their traditional role and compliment my life, while receiving the best experiences I can provide them with, not complicate it by competing with me.
So no, its not intimidating from my perspective, nor insecure to avoid independent women, just a personal preference.
I`m a dominant man and I like traditional, submissive, feminine women.
Thus I'm fine with providing for my girlfriends. Ill provide the excitement and safety, as long as they take care of themselves, are loyal and fun to be around.😊
@TheSpaceGnome - Whatever works for you my "gnome" friend.
On a serious note.
First of all, I know what Im talking about, many traditional women and men that I surround myself with, agree with me.
And thus, I believe you painted the wrong image in your mind about the kind of man I am, and misunderstood my point of view because, you believe in things that do not align with the traditional approach to our sex roles.
I believe, as a 20yo man chasing excellence, that it is my duty to God and to my bloodline to become the best possible version of myself, protect and provide for that which I believe in, value and love - my family and the people I care about.
And in order to do that, I must become disciplined and work hard to excel in the following areas of life: Looks/Money/Status/Game. "Entrepreneur in Cars"
Thus, women are not the focus of my life, becoming the best possible version of myself is.
Therefore, or actually secondly...
I know my value, I would never allow myself to be "used" by a woman, and that is why I test them just as they test me with their "sh*t tests", to know whether we are compatible and on a similar or even better, the same level/ page.
I've heard this so many times: "gold diggers beware", "steal your money and leave", it just sounds boring and beta like...
Have you actually had that experience?
Or is it someone elses opinion/experience that you are just repeating?
In the case you have genuinely experienced this ->
What kind of a man are you that dated gold diggers long term and allowed them to "use you" in the first place? (simp behaviour, giving them money for nothing in return).
Girls leave you when they no longer have a genuine burning desire for you & most often have a better option which is a higher quality man.
A man who is better looking (V-taper and s*xy pack like me).
Wealthier and surrounded by higher value - like minded men. (Network of men with the same purpose as me)
His game trumps yours, he is able to excite her more. Ill elaborate my point on this one.
I use my excellent charm skills and the resources I have available, to give girls exciting and unique experiences, in return for intimacy.
Thirdly a fact, women dont care about money, only the excitement that money can bring.
If you gave majority of women, the opportunity to make $1k by working 4-5hours each day, she would work 1 day and take the rest of the week off.
Where as majority of men would work 7 days a week, 10 hours a day to make as much money as possible.
Moreover, I dont believe one night stands are for losers, if you're a high value man, you will exercise your options, if your not, you won't.
Which in the eyes of any woman, if you have no options, you are the loser. She`ll soon realise this & that she has no competition anxiety (she doesn't have to worry about you leaving her for a hotter chick, as that girl won't want you).
Regarding "gold diggers", they don't really bother me because Im intelligent enough to prevent them from entering my private life & affecting negatively the world Im building.
Yes I might go to a party and throw drinks around, though its champ change and I do it for the purpose of entertainment and improving my status.
"Young G gave us drinks! I heard really good things about him..."
"he's charming and funny asf."
"His d*ck is HUGE, Amelia said he's soo good in bed, I want some of that too..."
"Is he doing a party over at his this weekend? Who has his number?"
I have an abundance mindset, thus I am able to be the kind of man I am.
I crave and love a strong independent woman who doesn't need a man to define or support her financially this shows me she can stand on her own. I like a sexually secure woman who is open minded and who loves to feminize and sissify a Panty Princess.
Sucking cock with a woman or dressing up together as she helps me become a better sissy and puts me in my place when required. a lot of people assume that a Panty Princess who sucks cock is gay which is not my case ever since I discovered my feminine side I've become more attracted to women I can relate and understand them so much better than ever before. They taught me how not to shove my she-nis down their throats and they taught me how to respect and honor a pussy.
I've been told by my ex-girlfiends that I'm a better lover and I'm a better person ever since I've acted on my inner girl. I mix both genders into one but my femininity is much stronger than my old macho male attitudes.
I respect women and honor women more than I ever had even my own Mother who supported and encouraged me to act on my femininity says how much I've changed becoming a Panty Princess which she advises me on how to look, act and perform as a girl sexually and emotionally adding that she is extremely proud of her new daughter (me) she had 4 sons but now she says that she has 3 sons and 1 daughter our bond has grown so strong just like it's grown with my female friends.
My thoughts are simple any male who is abusive, disrespectful or mean to a woman should be forced to wear lingerie and suck cock this will change his views on females forever!
No weāre not. A majority of strong, independent women are annoying. Women like this say heās not man enough to handle me or deal w me. Who TF wants to come home to a partner who you have to handle or control? Not me. Sheās a grownup she should control herself. No one wants that BS after working all day. These type of women usually have masculine qualities that men donāt want. Itās not that we canāt handle them, we choose not to handle them. So sheās making her own money, got her own house and car, good for her. But in reality that isnāt something that makes her look sexier in menās eyes.
Sometimes maybe but many times the problem that women that points out how good she is alone and how good her business is running isn´t desirable to guy. Sure there are guys that are intimidated but many guys see such a behavior as a business routine.
Guys go on dates to have a good time not to talk about business. If a woman seems to behave on a date like she would in office it´s a turn off from a guy´s point of view and it makes him more feel like she wants to be his rival and compete with him in the relationship.
If a woman manages to calm down and be funny and open for a good evening she can be successful with many guys.
Some men are, but some men are intimated by anyone they perceive to be smarter, cooler, better looking, more popular, wealthier, ... than they are... see where I'm going? Seems to me that a lot of men want to be thought of as saviors who are needed, and not just wanted, let alone loved. Once they think you don't really "need" them, their brains should off and they can't get past it. Usually, the bitch word follows! LOL
No. Why would they be?
A woman who is independent is basically an adult. When women announce to the world that they are strong independent women they sound retarded because they are just saying that they are adults.
I don't know any men intimidated by it. We may not like the "boss bitch" mentality. Doesn't mean we're intimidated by it. I don't like broccoli. Not intimidated by it. The "intimidation" line is fed to women to feel better about being impersonable.
After update #2. The only way you can interpret all the answers is that "we don't like being considered intimidated. How about, maybe we're just really not intimidated? I don't get intimidated by raisin cookies either. Just don't care for them.
Mike Tyson is intimidating
a Silverback Gorilla is intimidating
the Incredible Hulk is intimidating
a strong independent woman is not intimidating
Some are. They fear that if a woman isn't dependent on them, she may leave them. I would rather be with a woman who doesn't need me but wants me anyway.
Not Really, I was only ever intimidated by one woman and it wasn't her independence but more of her intelligence that led her to that lifestyle of independence, an independent woman doesn't intimidate me, a smart woman does 😂
Indeed it is Liv šÆ
No, thats expected. I only dare scientifically minded, career oriented, gamer cosplayer artist women. They are all independant, creative, talented, and stubborn, and I prefer it that way.
only date*
Nah.
If I were in a relationship, I don't want a traditional woman myself, but I think a lot of feminist type will preach things like that to bash men and call them intimidated or insecure.
I am not intimidated by independent women. In fact I find it to be a plus if they are independent.
Some guys are intimidated by all women. Some are only intimidated by those who challenge them. Some of us like the challenge.
Iāve found the majority of women that brag about being independent are usually self righteous and rude to people. Men arenāt turned off by their independence, weāre just revolted by their bad behavior.
Obviously some are. You can see it on here all the time.
"Independent" is code for "loud, obnoxious, rude, drunken, and otherwise insufferable". So,. no, we are not "intimidated" by "independent" women, we just can't stand to be around them.
No. It's called being an adult. Oh, you make your own money and take care of business? So does every guy worth his salt. You want a cookie?
Less intimidation and more just boredom. Its like you clearly don't need us so why bother.
No. But if all you are is strong and independent than we don't really need you. I'm already financially secure.
It doesn't matter to me dependent or independent. I care about the person's character.
Why in the world would men be intimidated by an "independent woman" (whatever that means)?
No.. men like submissive feminine women. Not boss women. Men and women are very different and we like different things
no and the choice of the word "intimidated" is toxic gaslighting. I don't know if you're doing it on purpose but that's what it is.
Nope. The whole "intimidation" thing is just something women tell themselves.
Not at all. Itās like āfinally, someone who can contribute.ā
We're not, we just wonder, why does she need us then, other than fertilization
Insecure punks are.
Once a woman is an adult I expect her to act like it. Childhood is over for her.
It's something that's said to make her feel better.
No. I expect women to be self sustainable.
Men arenāt. Immature boys are.
No. Not at all
No, on the contrary, I will take her money.
Nope! I like a strong playful woman!
no not really i find it pretty hot myself
Only the ones who have confidence issues 🤷🏻āāļø
No lol just don't be obnoxious
