Guys, Would you stop liking a girl if she told you she had a tooth infection?

I told this guy I liked (and he liked me) about my toothache and I told him the dentist said I had a tooth infection and his face changed like his was grossed out and he doesn't talk to me as much. I feel kind of embarrassed like maybe he thinks I have bad hygiene? But I brush my teeth everyday even before bed and I floss, but I do eat a lot of sweets and candy which is why I'm assuming I got a toothache. But I'm thinking of not telling guys about it so I won't turn them off.
