My boyfriends opinion of women outside me and family is iffy?

Ok so my boyfriend is fairly right wing conservative which isn’t a huge issue since politics arnt a big thing in our relationship. He can have his views I have mine.

However I’ve noticed more and more lately when he refers to woman outside me or his family he tends to view them in more negative light. Ie a woman dressing loosely as a slut. If she slaps him he has the right to hit her back. That men have it a lot harder then us etc.

But that is never an issue when referring to me. He treats me like a princess.

I’m just so confused.

Yeah, sorry Stormy, that not how that works. If you think his opinion of woman in general is iffy... and you are a woman... I am just saying. There three options here 1. He is a sexist, 2, he is not sexist 3. he really holds you about all other women, but you are still a woman.

So honestly what's really offensive about woman dressing loosely? Like nothing men all love it when a woman puts her ass or tits out on display. What we find aggravating is that when women do it and then expect us to treat them like a lady, when they are presenting themselves as a lady. So, he can act offend on some level, but on other level he knows he likes it. We all like to look, but that does not mean we would want to date them... but offensive... nah, I don't buy it. Women are players to.

Yeah, if you are woman, you got the balls to slap me... yeah you better duck. No woman has the right to put her hands on a man, just like no man has the right to put his hands on her. So that's just good advice I am giving you, woman can play all the emotional manipulation games they want, and a good man will just take it... but you put hands on me... yeah you want to act like a man now? You better be ready to get treated like one.

So as far as this particular guy and you situation... yeah, I would not trust in him either. What's triggering you is that you know you have done the things he is saying, and now you are thinking all those things he says does not apply to you of course. They do honestly, but the difference is you are boning him. And yes, sometime that is all the difference it takes.

It also hot to have your woman dress a little loose and see the other guys looking at her. But only because she is boning me, and I know all the other guys are thinking the same thing as me. Yeah, she's hot, but probably loose, so he is a lucky guy.

The slapping thing, though... yeah you better really think hard about that one. Because I seriously doubt, he is playing around with you on that one. He is setting a hard boundary that I would not darn cross.

Except, in reality, that RARELY works out. (*)
And, in your case, it won't work out.

Unfortunately, his "fairly right-wing conservative" views are going to confront your freedoms as a woman and as a person. This is going to lead to arguments in time. You will both gradually lose respect for each other. It's not going to end well.

It's not a question of "if" but of "when" and "when" is going to be fairly soon.

Bottomline: He should go. Now. Otherwise, you wouldn't even have asked this very question but you know, deep down, he's going to be a problem for you.

(*) It has a better chance of working out if the male is liberal and the female conservative because females, because of evolutionary traits, are inherently more liberal than males, so it sort of balances out. Example: James Carville and Mary Matalin who were on opposite sides of the 1992 election, but have been married for 30 years.

He has a circle of women that he values, which is good. However, political views, regardless of side, seep in to personal lives at some point. If you are of an opposing view, or even closer to neutral, there's bound to come a time when you will clash. Not saying that it will be the make or break for your relationship, just something to expect.

What concerns me is another question you posted about his violent past. Couples clash. It's inevitable. Most usually amount to nothing and you just move on. Some are a bit more intense. For me, knowing that he has a past and that stressful situations can trigger him is a bit of a red flag. Hard to suggest that it would lead him to lay a hand on you, but it's something to monitor.

Maybe just understand what he's come to understand about dealing with women outside of yourself. I think it's healthy and a lot of women can learn a lot from some red-pilled content... be a regular Courty Ryan or Just pearly things on the subject. Come to an understanding of why Undead Chronic or Joker has come to their independent conclusions. It's not rocket surgery and they both have their own valid points. We're not supposed to agree on everything but at the same time... we should understand different viewpoints and have a popular consensus on at least some topics.

Confusion is good... it means you're ready to learn some stuff you've never been exposed to before. Look up everyone I mentioned here, 2 females and 2 males, you'll know exactly what your man is thinking about or actively observing in the real world.

in my opinion I would probably agree w him on a lot of things. Men these days aren’t taking a lot of bs women deal out. Women say they deal w a lot of shot men do, so have men. We’ve just kept quiet about it a lot longer. Isn’t that what a lot of women wanted equality. So yes if you’re going to act like a man, trying to hit a man don’t be surprised if he does the same in return. There’s assumptions about both genders. A girl who’s dressed like a slut may be perceived as one. If you had a choice of two daycare centers, one run completely by men bs one ran completely by women, which one would you pick? Most people would say the one by women even if the men were the nicest dudes on this planet. Men are labeled in many ways just as women. Female walking in the park at night sees a man walking in her direction on the sidewalk, she probably going to think the worst. Maybe even go a different direction. Women want equality, they say they want the truth but can’t handle the truth when the truth isn’t their truth. He tolerates it because it’s you, you’re his girlfriend, he sees you as more than something sexually, the women are your family. Now if you two broke up would he tolerate it? Most likely not. You’d be just the same as all the other women. Women don’t realize many of you are allowed to say some stupid, crazy shit, even hit men because men allow you to simply because they want to screw you. Trust me if women didn’t have what men wanted most men would t treat women the way they do, all these simps.

Your relationship isn't devoid of politics either. When the politics involved revolve around removing your rights as a human being, there's no getting around that. You can't choose not to participate - you will be impacted by his politics.

If he respects and cares for the women in his circle, as you've stated, I don't see the issue. Judging or Sizing up others based on superficial traits is completely human. It's how we identify the things that may be of benefit to us or be a danger to us. We categorize and move on. He may be choosing his words poorly though. While I haven't used "slut" as a term since my early 20s, I have noted women who have class/elegance over those ladies who I deem are "classless".

I would also argue that if someone/anyone slaps you with or without cause, you have the right to return the favor. (Use your words) In general though it's easier to block a slap than a kick, which is usually the next attack from a woman. As far as the last bit, that debate has raged on for centuries with no end in sight.

Loved ones have flaws too. If it bothers you talk with him, not us.

In my opinion, always look to how your partner treats strangers. One day they will treat you that same way. Things are rosy and people are on their best behavior in the beginning of a relationship. But over time you will not be spared from those views and behavior as he becomes more comfortable with you and sees you aren’t leaving him. I guess ask yourself, do you want him to one day dictate what you wear, that if you wear something too revealing in his eyes, you are a slut?

Sounds like he has a poor view of women in general, but the ones he actually gets to know he doesn't view poorly. This is most likely because of buying into a lot of the hyper conservative rhetoric around women and feminism, but when it doesn't hold up with the women he actually knows, rather than considering the rhetoric informed viewpoint might be incorrect, he views them as exceptions to the rule and treats them well
