1. He's attractive - usually, but not always in looks. Sometimes, he might not be handsome, but he might instead be well-dressed, stylish, or have obvious wealth. So if you ask men for their opinion, and most guys are telling you he's a player, BELIEVE THEM. Likewise, if nearly all guys say he isn't, BELIEVE THEM. Other guys will know.

3. Fuckboys are about fucking. They're not about relationships, they're not about long-term futures, they're about getting you into a room and banging you. If you are talking to a guy and he steers every conversation towards getting you alone, then you are almost certainly dealing with a fuckboy. Someone who is looking for a real relationship probably wants to bang you just as much, but he's going to focus a LOT more of the conversation on the RELATIONSHP and the FUTURE together, and not just getting your panties off.

They're usually good liars. Even when they're caught lying they try to turn it around and make it your fault, or they will try to deny it even with evidence. They are charming, handsome and usually athletic. Some spend hours at the gym, and they use certain colognes, clothing, and accessorize themselves to attract people.
