The whole point is to MAKE it obvious. The hope (those guys have) is that it will initiate some conversation. Obviously a lot of the time, it doesn't work, but sometimes it does, and for them, it's simply a numbers game. For every 20 girls they do this to, one or two will respond positively, and that's all that matters to them.
