Guy's Behavior

He confuses me. he ignores for so long then looks at me out of the blue?

there's a guy i like and he has been ignoring me for a while so i have been doing the same. but today i stared at him for a while and he looked back unexpectedly. he was talking to his friends and started laughing, and they looked in my direction as well. but he makes it too obvious that he's ignoring me like he turns half of his face away. it makes me feel like he's a baby and he's trying hard to ignore.
