It's not. Men are just socialized not to show pain, sadness or loneliness. This is all perceived as "weakness". It's really not good for us and is partly why men have more successful suicide attempts than women.

  @HateyouxD a woman who seemed interested in me had practically left me behind after I had no more time to spend around her. Now things barely changed on my side after a year, but now she's the one slightly approaching me again. Meaning that I avoided her physically and she went out of her way on purpose or not, yet refused to just ignore me but instead greeted me a after not seeing me for a year. Which was my intention since she actually has a boyfriend but tried to treat me like nothing changed between us. I mean, why staying friends with someone you turned down without asking them?
