Why won’t guys ask me out or shoot their shot with me? I’ve been told by coworkers & friends that guys I know find me attractive & say I’m a catch?

I’ve had male coworkers who are unavailable tell me I’m “a catch” and that other male coworkers text and talk to each other about how they find me physically attractive. Yet no one asks me out. What could be the cause of this? I smile a lot and try to be friendly.

This qustion is asked quite often. Maybe these guys of your age hust want sex and see in you that you need more than that, so they decide to leave you alone. Are you really 30-35? Well I guess that doesn't change anything compared to if you were only 18 actually.

Obviously there has to be some reason. You really need to think about your encounters with guys and try and figure out why things go wrong. Maybe you just aren't meeting the right guys. as someone who finds it hard to ask girls out but still trying to, there is one thing you could do: most women in your position don't understand that men need to constantly look for signals so that they won't make unwanted advances and end up harassing or creating uncomfortable situations. smiling is good and all, but do you have someone or even a few that you wouldn't mind asking you out? if so then try to engage with them and "signal" that you are open to that. just initiate a conversation (not about work) and try to "feel cute", funny and open, instead of just politely friendly.

for example, if the guy comes to you asking for something, use a bubbly voice, try to make jokes (preferably teasingly), make eye contact and maybe a touch on the shoulder would go a long way. and if that doesn't do it then just invite them for coffee or beer and be done with it.
