Boyfriend doesn’t let me wear pink?

If I wear pink when I’m around him he tells me we can’t go anywhere unless I change into different clothes. He only likes me to wear black or blue. I like those colors too but sometimes like to wear pink or other colors but he always gets really mad whenever I wear those colors. Is this normal?

No that isn’t normal what so ever , he sounds like a control freak , why he doesn’t want you wearing pink seems odd to me to be honest , is he insecure? Does he have trust issues? Does he think by you wearing pink is going to get other guys’ interested in you? When a partner demands that you do what they say , you need to kick that motherfucker to the curb period , if he can’t accept you for who you are , then you are with the wrong person period, Sadly some people fall for this shit especially girls ‘ when they latch onto a guy that controls them that tells her what she can and can not wear , or do without his approval, when he tells her she isn’t allowed to eat certain foods or she can’t fart in front of him , or she can’t be friends with certain people or do certain things without his approval , that’s signs of a narcissist someone that only thinks what is best for themselves , Someone that will manipulates you to make you feel that you are always in the wrong and he is always in the right , Guy’s like him need a wake up call to understand he doesn’t own you. He is Literally trying to mold you into someone he wants you to be , to get his approval , Do yourself a favor and dump this fuck or you will just be digging your own grave by thinking this guy truly values you and appreciates you , he honestly doesn’t , he only values himself and the second he feels he isn’t getting his way with you, is the second he will try to play a victim that you don’t care about him or respect him , basically making excuses for his own selfish actions , he will more than likely find another sucker and act like you were the reason for it. Kick him to the curb , you deserve better than that shit. Sadly I see a lot of girls fall for guy’s like this thinking she is doing the right thing by listening to his demands , sadly to say that isn’t love , that is abuse , there is a difference between control and boundaries that most people have a hard time grasping. Control is demanding someone to do what they really don’t want to do , Boundaries is being on the same page with each other , if a partner isn’t following the same boundaries that you both agreed upon they are a selfish person that only cares about themselves , when someone can’t wear your shoes like they expect you to wear theirs they are a selfish person that only cares about themselves, they don’t see any wrong in their actions basically it’s ok for me to do this but not ok for you , A Narcissist doesn’t understand boundaries period , they only think about themselves.

I hear Some men hate their girlfriend wearing a Skirt or very revealing clothes outside. But i never heard of this color Thing. Its relativly new

No, he actually prefers me to wear revealing clothing like little black dresses out and sometimes I’m kind of uncomfortable wearing them because I used to dress more modestly. He says pink is for little girls and it’s stupid for a grown woman to wear them but I feel like a lot of women wear pink too. But he doesn’t even like me wearing green or any bright color because he says he likes black and dark blue best

There is many shades of pink like Rose and dark pink that looks so mature and not for kids. Colors are not exclusivly for kids or adults. U said he wants u to wear only black or blue. Yeah I used to bring up that I wanted to wear other colors and I think now it just feels easier at this point to tolerate it than for him to get really mad

He wants me to dress how he dresses (he only wears black, blue, and gray-he wouldn’t wear a color even like green) and seems to especially not want me to wear pink. I don’t know why-I don’t think he’s afraid of me wearing it-he just really doesn’t want me to wear it to an extent that he has me change

I feel strange about it-I also wonder if he thinks it’s wrong of him to demand this of me since he always tells me to never tell his friends or anybody that he tells me what to wear

No he doesn’t feel wrong, he wants to control you and that’s toxic for him to demand you not tell friends what he says. The fact that he gets angry.. that’s only going to escalate in the future. When you say you feel strange, do you ever feel scared?

A little bit because he seems to have a dark side. One moment he can be sweet and the next moment he could be shouting at me “get out of my f*cking car and change into something less frilly”

Yeah I think his dad was abusive and an alcoholic so I have sympathy for him in that sense but I wish he would get help for things like his anger management and his drinking. He doesn’t hit me or anything but he just gets so mad
