A guy ignored me for a month and then he asks me out of the blue if I'm attending a party he's going to. Why the change of heart?

Maybe he changed his mind about you. Maybe he wasn't interested in anyone a month ago and now he is open to hanging out with girls. There could be any number of reasons. I guess what does it matter though? I wouldn't over think this or read too much into it. If anything it is a positive thing and not a negative. Just go and hang out with him and see what happens. I'm guessing you at least like him if you bothered to ask the question.
