He was acting like he liked me, invited me to a party, and now he's ignoring me. Why

I've been talking to this guy online for the past few months. I know him through mutual friends and I've only met him twice, but we usually talk every day. We're both in college and we go to the same school. I mentioned to him about a week ago that we only talk online, and that we should hang out eventually. So he said that his friends are having a party and I should come, he'd like to see me. So I went on Friday, and everything went well, when I got to the house, I introduced myself to his friends, put my stuff down and was waiting for him to approach me, and he did, with a smile, and he was really nice to me. He would hold eye contact constantly, smile at me, etc. He was really sweet to me, asking me questions about myself and so on. It was nice hanging out with him, and I could sense that he liked having me there, because I wasn't clingy and I didn't smother him while I was there with him. He enjoyed my company and was the one to initiate conversation for the entire night. Also, there was a girl that was flirting with him while I was sitting next to him and talking to him.

But now he's not talking to me and I don't know what I did wrong. I thanked him online for inviting me, and he ignored me. So I've decided not to talk to him. We used to spend a lot of time interacting with each other without it getting boring. He's also went as far before as saying he trusts me, and he's only met me twice.

What happened? Will he ever talk to me again?

Oh hun, I'm sorry to hear that. I don't think you necessarily did anything wrong, but for some reason, he saw something at that party between you guys that told him you weren't going to click like he thought you were. Or he could have started something with someone else. Either way, it's crappy that he's ignoring you and not being straight up with you, but that's just the way people are. It's hard to truly tell someone that you're not interested in them, no matter what the reason is, and if he's not hitting you up, he's just not into you. He's the only one that can answer what happened, but at this point, it doesn't look like he will.

Sorry to say, but I think that you just have to cut your losses, figure that you missed a bullet (because this guy is definitely on the shady side), and move on. If he comes back around in the future, my advice is to stay away, simply because he obviously doesn't have enough respect for you as a person to be straight up with you.

It's really rude when someone decides to stop talking to you without any warning, its happened to me before as well so I guess I know how you feel. Try not to dwell on it, and realize that someone who thinks its OK to suddenly ignore you probably isn't worth worrying about

He's a dog and found a new girl. That's what it sounds like to me, so he's trying to let you off gently, even though he sounds like a p**** douche bag who can't own up to the truth.

I don't know when this happened, he might be really busy or something.

Or maybe he saw something in you that he didn't like it, people don't ignore people just because they are mean, they ignore people because there was something that offended them. I am not sure what you did or didn't, but if you started to play hard to get and make him jealous or play some sort of game while in the party that might have been the reason why. I was in a similar situation and I did ignore the girl because she offended me.

So ask him what is going on, if he really cares for you he would tell you what happened. If he doesn't he probably though you were an easy girl, but turns out you werent.

dont even worry about it and don't talk to him..ive had the same problem. if he talks to you;ignore him. I wouldn't hangout again unless he acted diffrent
