Why does he constantly stare if he doesn't want to get involved?

So the guy I've been working with has been giving me all the signs that he likes me blushing staring at me. I sense he was nervous around me because his voice would shake when talking to me. Constantly staring at me even a coworker said he was staring at me as well. So I decided to tell him how I felt I told him I like him and that I had strong feelings for him it was hard but I did. He told me that he was flattered and that he knew, but he doesn't want to get involved because he had a bad experience dating someone he worked with on the job and he thinks I'm a great worker. What I don't get is why all the staring and blushing if he doesn't want to get involved with know one on the job.

He likes and admires what he sees. He would probably want to date you but that may take some time. e to get over the bad experience he had.

Sorry to bother you can you help me and tell me what you think. Like today was really hard for me to see him😔 I could see him still looking at me when we were in a meeting. Can I ask u something. Do u think he was staring so much is because he was reading me he said that he could read people pretty well. He said he already knew I liked him and he wasn't going to bring it up he was just going to let it be. And what really got me confused is when my coworker said he mentioned my name to her, he told her about me and him were working together in a room. She said as soon as my name came out of his mouth his face light up like a Christmas tree she said he tried to hide his eyes and his smile he couldn't, she said his smile was really huge. This is the reason why I decided to say something to him.

Sorry for the long paragraph this is another thing sometimes when he would talk to me his voice would be shaky or he would stutter or stammer over his words. Can you tell me what you think please when you have time thank you 😔 I'll appreciate your response I don't have anyone to talk to about this thank you again Sir.

What do you think about the word flattered he said he was flattered by what I said. Don't that mean he's not interested in me.

From everything you have described, he is definitely portraying all the signs that he is interested in you. Guys generally do not demonstrate that much interest in someone they do not find attractive and romantically interested in. Why he is holding back is a bit of a mystery. It could be he really likes you but, for some reason, is either incredibly shy or intimidated by you, which could be for many reasons from beauty, friends, or being outgoing. There is no way of knowing for sure.

If I were you, I would pursue him.

Remember I said he said he had a bad experience with someone at work I guess he was talking to or going out with someone at his last job and it didn't go well.

Also I wanted to ask u does it take someone that long to read someone because he was staring since the end of last year. I was wondering if he was staring because he likes me/attracted to me or was he trying to see/ read me. There's nothing special I'm doing when working he just be staring the whole time. Even while he's walking his head is turned towards me while his legs is going in a different direction. I caught him two times looking at me he was at the elevator with his back towards me and he didn't know I was already looking at him cause I wanted to see if it was true he was staring at me. And sure enough he turned around and started staring when he realized I was already looking at him he smiled with a closed mouth and a slightly red face.

And for some strange reason about everywhere I am so is he I noticed it and a coworker friend of mine said so too🤷
