Why are men only nice to me when I wear the color pink?

It probably has more to do with how it makes you feel and behave when you wear pink. Men love femininity, feminine beauty and feminine character. We crave it because it is lacking in today's women.

Oh for sure, I feel as though I get more attention in certain things than others, but pertaining to wearing a certain color, I’m not sure it’s contributed

Nah, average girls are approached more often by reasonable guys. Above average deal with fuck boys approaching.
