Like everything else, there is a spectrum. For the most driven men, your question describes them just about perfectly. These men tend to be driven towards success in other significant aspects of their lives, which is why so many are in the top of entertainment, sports, or business. They want a ton, get a ton, and consume a ton. There are also men with very high libidos who lack the drive or skills for success, but still chase women all day long and are often successful at getting lots of women (for casual sex).

But that's the high end of the distribution curve. The majority of men have somewhat lower libidos and drive. Many still desire casual sex with many partners, but that might be 5 or 10 in a year, rather than 100 different partners a year like guys at the top of the scale. Many of these same guys are also happy to be in a monogamous relationship IF he can get what he judges to be a quality woman, and if the relationship her is healthy. A smaller number cannot be happy or satisfied in a monogamous relationship.

And near the bottom of the scale are men with low or no libidos, for whom sex is only a minor factor. And just above them, but below the majority in the middle, are men who definitely care about sex but ONLY want monogamous relationships.

The majority of men are driven by sex as a primary motivation to some degree, especially from about 15-35 years of age. Most aren't on or even close to the level of the top guys, who may sleep with several hundred different women in a year, but it's still high on their list of motivations. Most men's desire for money, status, and power is rooted in their desire to be able to attract women for sex.

This is one of those questions where a person can evade reality and give a non answer.

I think the truth is that every man loves female beauty and we all wish to experience all kinds of female beauty in a sexual setting. Every woman who is attractive is sexually attractive and thus, there is some level of pleasure in the idea of satisfying those desires to experience women in that way. It is the highest pleasure a person can experience in life besides maybe doing heroin or some shit and that's no good.

But, it's easy for a man to say "oh I only want one woman" or "oh I never cared."

The simple reality is that everyone has their own life and they are pushed and pulled in different directions. The circumstances of their lives and the beliefs they have will change how they are and how they act.

But the real truth is that even if a man only wants one woman, that doesn't mean that somehow now he is no longer attracted to other women and wouldn't love to experience fucking them.

It's just real life is real life and you can't satisfy all of the most pleasurable things. You have to live in the real world.

I would say no what´s rather in a man´s biology is a high sex drive that is higher than the female. That doesn´t mean that he has to sleep with various women it could mean that he sleeps with the same woman all the time. All the talk about men need options is learned behavior. It´s learned from the incident that some guys have it easier with women to connect and attract them than other guys. Those guys promote idea that a "real" guy should be able to have options and therefore quite a few guys want that too but I would say there are equally as many guys that are not into that.

That´s so because often two aspect I´d assume that are sex drive and background. Guys vary in their level of sex-drive and there are probably guys that have such a high sex drive that they need to have options. Sure but that´s definitely not the majority of guys and I don´t think that say they fit in that category do so I would even say that some guys that are in that category won´t admit that.

I would assume that it more importantly depends on a guy´s background if he wants a family or just to have sex with a couple women. Because if he comes from a strong family is likely to be interested to have that too rather than having some lose relationships just to experience sex as much as he can.
