How would you feel if a guy said all women are basically the same in character so what works for one works for all? You probably be insulted and so are guys.
The other issue is that he´s frustrated with his past and the situation.

Would not know, as I was committed to my career at that age, and the women around me at that time were too immature to be bothered with, that was a long time ago.
