My ex broke no contact just to send a few messages and disappear again, what was the point?

My ex and I were in no contact for 2 months, he randomly texted me and asked me to hangout. He literally just sent a handful of messages and then completely disappeared again. I do not understand what the point of this was.

That's hella weird of him to break no contact like that and then dip out again so quick. A few possibilities for what that could've been about:

- Maybe he was missing you and wanted to see if you'd be down to hang, but then chickened out when it got real.

- Could be he was just feeling lonely/bored and wanted attention but didn't actually have any intention of following through.

- Might've been trying to see if he still had you on the hook to boost his ego, without having to put in real effort.

- Possibly just messing with your head cuz he likes the control and knowing he can still get a rise outta you.

Honestly sis, don't stress about figuring out his motives. Dude clearly ain't over you yet but also ain't got his shit together enough for contact again either.

You're better off just keeping it pushing and letting his wishy-washy ass be. Don't respond if he hits you up again - you deserve better than his flaky games feel me?

Keep doing your thing and he'll fully realize what he missin out on. His temporary attention ain't worth your time or energy.

I dont think so he didn't mention anything about having sex. I think it was just going to be to have a conversation and catch up with one another. I guess now i just have to wait, I can't text him again
