Guys, Does he actually feel guilty or he’s rejecting me?

I had sex with a guy who’s in a relationship after we had sex he texted me saying he wants to do it again the next day. He texted me the next morning til the evening still down to do it again then he says “I’m gonna be real. I feel bad about this” he then proceeded to cancel it and doesn’t even reschedule, but says “maybe another time”. I know he has cheated on her before me I’ve seen it happen. I would never want to be in a relationship with him i just think he’s hot and I have made it clear I only wanted sex, but for some reason I keep thinking it’s something to do with me because I don’t truly believe he feels guilty because if he did he wouldn’t continue cheating on her. He also told me that he wanted it to be a continuous thing after we had sex so it couldn’t be that he just got what he wanted?
