Ah man that sucks, I hate when people aren't straight with you. If he just wanted to be friends that's one thing, but then he hit you with that "I don't know" which is super lame. Like dude, have some balls and be honest about why you don't wanna date instead of leaving you hanging. It's cool that you shot your shot though, that took guts. Maybe just give him some space for now since things are weird after you told him how you felt. Hang with your other friends and do your own thing so he doesn't think you're sitting around waiting on him. Who knows, maybe in time he'll realize he does like you back.
